After the last few days of torrential downpour and the all but disappearance of the snow from town, opening day prospects looked dismal. Very dismal. And they were!

That being said, it sure was great fun sliding around on skis again!

Forecast looks promising with cooler temps and 30 plus cm expected before Monday.
